Flower Child

I've always been attracted to colorful, floral prints. I bet I'd have a room full of clothes if I were born in the 60's. For sure I'd make a pretty stylish hippie minus the weed. Heeh. Anyhow, I found this lovely floral dress in one of the thrift stores I frequent a few weeks back. The girls at work went crazy over this piece because it looked good as new. I love how the print seemed to be hand painted with water color on the cloth. How much? Php. 55.00 (approximately $1.10). Ain't this a great steal or what?!
There's just so much pretty stuff that I find for less. People at work are always in great disbelief after I tell them how much I get my ukay clothes for. And I have to admit that going thru a ton of old clothes and searching for the right piece could be very de-stressing. Some of my friends even ask me to shop for them. All the compliments I get for my cheap clothes got me thinking of creating an online thrift shop as well. I see that there is a big market for vintage and second hand clothes. I have yet to see if things would be feasible for me though. I still need to figure out how to stretch that remaining time I have for my family and myself since the bigger portion of my time is being eaten away by work.
I've voiced my plan out and a lot of people had volunteered to help. I just don't know if I would have enough time to maintain and supervise everything. I do need the extra income though. You can never have enough mad money, you know?

It's a great steal! And you look awesome on it btw!
Lucky girl! It's so pretty! You sure do know where to shop. That's a really good deal you got there.
I like vintage stuff too but I really don't know where to look for them. The only place I know that sells nice vintage items, is Baul in Saguijo. I have not been there for a while and I have no idea if Baul is still there.
Pretty!!! Can you shop for me na rin? Hehe.
@ Charles: Thanks. It's a good deal for cheapos like me. :p
@ Russ: Oh, I haven't been to Baul. Thanks for suggesting that. I know where Saguijo is... That's something I'll look forward to visiting soon. :)
@ Joey: Hehe. Tara!
