Happy Streak
I've been pretty busy lately. Work has been intense and productive for the past week and all is good knowing that I'm with my old team again. It feels so much like home, and I am somewhat more eager to work. Being with people you enjoy the company of truly works wonders. Everything's a breath of fresh air since Monday and I do hope that I don't lose this happy streak.
I was out of the office Tuesday and a couple of people were congratulating me when I got back the next day. Everyone was telling me that I had an award, which I missed receiving since award giving was launched the day before. Apparently, I was given recognition for that R&R project my boss had me do for other people, not knowing all along that I was one of the awardees.
I feel as if I don't really deserve the award as much as everyone else who got it though. Either that or I'm just being too hard on myself again. There's some weird pressure on me knowing that everyone's counting on me and watching what I do since there was so much red tape , a lot of coaxing, meetings, compromise I had to go thru just to get things into order again.
I'll savor all I can since the moment is here. I'm just glad that things are finally in place once more, and now I can move on after that sudden interruption I had with my work life.

CONGRATULATIONS.
We all deserve all these good things, you especially if you've been working so hard. So yes, please don't be too hard on yourself. Enjoy these blessings and may you have more. You seem to be in a company that knows how to appreciate and take care of its people, that's really good.
