Halloween '09
It's 12:26 in the morning and I'm wide awake while the entire house is asleep. I have yet to adjust to their timezone. I've got TruTV and the internet as company.
My trip to Baltimore was crazy, my arrival being delayed for four hours. I had to rebook my flight and wait when I got to Chicago because I missed my original flight. I was literally running when I got to O'Hare cause the immigration line took forever and I had to take a train to get to my gate. It was too late when I got to my assigned gate though. I was technically traveling for over 24 hours and was I glad that I was asleep on most of my long trip. Otherwise, I would have been pulling my hair out in frustration. 15 hours from HK to Chicago is no joke. I had to thank turbulence for lulling me to sleep.
I was glad to have foreign speaking single serving friends since I had all the permission to ignore them and not try to make a conversation or be all nice and polite. By the time the domestic plane took off O'Hare I was literally dying for someone to talk to though. I just wanted to rant my head off. I ended up being seated beside an Indian guy who was asleep the entire time. We had small talk when we finally landed.
The following day was d-day since we all had to prep up for the evening Halloween party. I found a cool costume at Party City. I had a difficult time getting something that would suit me cause everything else that I wanted was either sold out or were available in broken sizes. Even so, there was a huge swarm of people doing last minute costume shopping.
Everyone came in a costume. We had a devil, a rocker, a biker dude, an emo guy, little red riding hood, a butterfly, a vampire, a cheerleader, a kitty, a greek goddess, Elvira, a pimp, bacon and eggs, a devil, a clown, a police, a maiden, a soldier, a mariner--- the list in long. I have yet to post and edit pics. All else is to follow.
It was fun, we took my lil cousins trick or treating before heading to the party. We had a lot of grub and games thereafter where Brandon, my step cousin, and I won the paper dance. ;D
